11 year GCS veteran Chris Devonshire appointed Head of GCS Technology New role created as a vital first step in expansion of leading recruiter As a key step in the ambitious growth plan of GCS Recruitment Specialists, the company has appointed its first “Head” of a trading division. Chris Devonshire, who has worked his way up through the ranks of GCS since joining as a resourcer in February 2000, has been appointed Head of GCS Technology, and has very clear goals. “My primary target is to get the Technology recruitment division within GCS generating a turnover in excess of £30 million. The company’s overall highest annual turnover so far is just short of £30m, so setting this as a goal for a single division is ambitious, challenging and – I’m confident – definitely achievable” says Devonshire. “I am going to be recruiting heavily to add to my team and focusing on professional development. Existing team members will have the opportunity to progress their careers quickly. I will also be looking to open a new regional office within the next few years.
