247recruit Sponsor Hospitality Showcase at World Skills 2011

Specialist hospitality job board network 247recruit will be co-sponsoring the hospitality industry showcase at the World Skills event this October. WorldSkills London 2011 will be the world's largest international skills competition with young people from across the globe competing to be the best of the best in their chosen skill. 150,000 expected visitors will see 1,000 competitors from more than 50 countries competing in 46 skill areas over four exciting days of competition.

The hospitality showcase is being co-ordinated by Springboard, the British Hospitality Association, the Institute of Hospitality and People 1st. It will comprise a 150 sqm inter-active stand space which will provide, as well as a mass of careers information, a wide range of opportunities for young people to 'have a go' and try their hand at a number of different hospitality skill areas from bed making to 'mocktails' or omelette challenges to check-in 'trials' alongside quizzes, competitions and speaker sessions.
