2LS has released a pair of invaluable (and free) recruitment tools

Market-leading recruitment software company 2LS has recently released a pair of invaluable (and free) recruitment tools. The business, which focuses purely on the design and development of recruitment specific product GRIP, has made available a free online calculator, as well as the 23-page ‘Recruiter’s Book of Checklists’, offering guidance in 10 key areas of recruitment.

 “Since we concentrate entirely on making the best software for the recruitment market, it is only natural that we would want the industry to prosper” says 2LS Managing Director Neil Thompson. “Offering free tools is our way of helping keep industry standards high. As such, we’ve worked with two of the country’s leading recruitment experts to create an excellent downloadable guide that features 100 tips that will help both experienced and new recruiters alike.”

The experts in question are David Bloxham, Managing Director of 2010 Thames Valley Business of the Year, GCS Recruitment Specialists, and Ross Williams, former MD of electronics specialist recruiter Talisman Technology. With over 30 years of combined experience in the field, Bloxham and Williams are ideally placed to contribute to such a project.

“It’s a tremendous idea” offers Williams. “Training is all too quickly brushed aside in many companies. Once a new recruiter has a moderate grasp of the basics, he is generally expected to generate revenue but given no further training.
