4 U Recruitment celebrates sixth birthday with record turnover

A South Wales construction recruitment company, which reached its six-year milestone this month, has double reason to celebrate after announcing a 40% increase in turnover during the first quarter of 2011.

4 U Recruitment has grown from a one-man operation a to global construction recruitment agency, placing candidates in roles around the world which helped the company turn over almost £3 million in 2010.

Managing Director of 4 U Recruitment, Nigel Lewis said: “It was this time six years ago that I placed my first candidate in a construction job. Back then, I was working on my own out of an office in a spare bedroom in my house.

“Since then, I moved the company to our present-day head office and have taken on ten members of staff, with two more starting in the next month to meet demand as the construction sector gathers pace. By this time next year and going on our recent growth, I expect to have 30 full-time staff at our offices, as we expand our offering and our world-wide reach.”

Last year, and despite a global recession, 4 U Recruitment increased its turnover from £2.1 million to £2.8 million – a rise of 33%.

“Our success in winning contracts is down to the strength of our quality systems, our safety record and the hard work of our consultants and candidates,” said Lewis. “We look after our clients and as a result we tend to work for them over long periods of time. That’s good for us, but good for the client too. We get to understand their needs and can move quickly to help them with any of their recruitment problems.”
