Abbis EDUCATION LAUNCHES IN CAMBRIDGE

abbis education, a new recruitment agency with the backing of a top national recruitment company, is opening its doors in the centre of Cambridge today - Monday, 5 December 2011.

The Jark Joint Venture company is led by managing director Mike Price, an expert in educational staffing with more than 15 years of experience in the recruitment industry.

The specialist agency supplies both temporary and permanent staff to educational and childcare organisations in and around Cambridge.

Mike Price said: “I have a strong background in working in educational and childcare recruitment and because of this I have ensured that abbis education will fill a current gap in the recruitment market place. Whilst I will be focusing on supplying workers for younger age group companies to begin with, I will then expand and operate in higher education. I look forward to providing Cambridge with a new, quality educational recruitment service.”

From Mike’s experience in recruitment, making his way through the ranks from trainee consultant to business owner, he is well placed to start his own agency.  A key part of Mike’s successful career so far has been his high-service levels to both clients and candidates alike, as well as looking forward and embracing the changing recruitment marketplace.

abbis education is not a franchise but part of a series of national joint ventures launched earlier in the year, which give recruitment entrepreneurs the practical and financial support they need to launch their own business.

John Buckman, Jark Joint Ventures chairman and also the joint founder of Jark plc, said: “Jark Joint Venture businesses can operate without getting held back by day-to-day processes. Taking away the back office burden allows people like Mike to concentrate on the sales and development of their business and gives them the opportunity to outperform their competitors. Being linked to Jark will enhance opportunities at a national level, without losing focus on being successful locally.”

Mike continued: “I am an entrepreneur and have launched businesses in the past which have been very successful. I am confident that being part of the Jark Joint Venture group will only aid me in establishing my business in Cambridge. I’ve already seen the benefits from HR, IT, payroll and accounts, PR and marketing support that I simply did not have the first time I launched a business.”
