Alium Partners expands its team

Alium Partners, the leading independent provider of senior interim executives, has expanded its team through the recent appointment of four senior consultants.  Nigel Peters has also been promoted to the position of Managing Director of the firm and continues to report to Mike Hollin, Chief Executive Officer. 

The new joiners are:

Emma Richards.  Emma heads the firm’s procurement and supply chain practice and brings 14 years’ recruitment experience.  She will develop the practice and lead  several existing major private and public sector accounts.  Previously, Emma worked at Hudson Global Resources where she headed up an interim procurement practice for six years.  Prior to that, she headed up an interim finance and accounting division for five years. 

Bruce Muir.  Bruce is head of Alium’s IT practice. He has over 20 years’ experience in IT professional services, initially with Ernst & Young and Accenture, before moving into executive search with Norman Broadbent and then Harvey Nash. Most recently he worked for leading networking forum CIO Connect, with responsibility for a portfolio of FTSE 100 and 250 CIOs.  Bruce works with large-scale organisations in both the private and public sectors placing senior interim IT leaders into programme management and head of function roles. 

Jon Ginder.  Jon serves the telecommunications market and is building the firm’s ERP practice.  He has more than a decade of senior recruitment experience, having initially focused on supplying IT Project Managers and Programme Heads to global system integrators. At the same time Jon established an executive search business in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Munich.  In 2003, he relocated to the Cayman Islands where he founded the first dedicated executive search firm in Grand Cayman and one of very few in the Caribbean region. He worked extensively in financial services, particularly for offshore banks, funds and trusts. 

John Woods.  John focuses on the financial services sector, across the disciplines of change and transformation and risk and regulation within consumer and investment banking.  He brings over 20 years of resourcing management and business development experience.  Previously, John was Head of Change and Transformation recruitment at McGregor-Boyall Associates and Account Director at EA Consulting Group.

The new hires will report to Nigel Peters.
