ALL STEAM AHEAD FOR RE- LAUNCH OF NOW RECRUITMENT’S RAIL DIVISION

Now Recruitment has announced the re-launch of its Rail Division.

The agency has just successfully completed the accreditation process for Link-up approval. The Link-up approval is an essential requirement for the placement of Rail Safety Critical personnel and enables the agency to provide Safety Critical staff across Network Rail’s infrastructure.

The Now Rail Division will supply a wide variety of positions from labourers to engineering supervisors on projects across the UK for many of the country’s leading rail contractors.
Now Recruitment is now in the process of appointing a National Business Manager to head up the new division working across each of its five UK offices.

The re-launch of the Rail Division is part of a wider strategy for growth in each of the agency’s specialist areas which include:- construction, accountancy, education and mechanical and engineering.

Mark Bull, Group Operations Director of Now Recruitment who headed up the launch says: “We’re delighted to re-enter this sector and to have achieved this essential accreditation.  We now have all necessary processes and procedures in place and have refreshed our candidate database.  We have appointed a dedicated Network Rail co-ordinator to look after the NCCA database and are poised and ready to build the business over the coming months and years.”

Now Recruitment was established in 1991 by Group MD Gary Redman.  In addition to the Birmingham head quarters the company has branches in Newcastle upon Tyne, Edinburgh, London and Cardiff as well as Melbourne and Sydney.
