Allemby Hunt Sees Growth in Middle East Executive Search

Leading Executive Search and Advisory firm, Allemby Hunt, has strengthened its Middle East recruitment team with the appointment of Daniel Gerard Knought, who joins their London office today.

Mr Knought commented that, "Although Dubai is certainly the easiest place for ex-pats to live, the real business is going on in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Certain Global Banks such as RBS have determined that they must build a strong presence in Qatar and Lloyds Bank is increasing their wealth management coverage in the UAE."

Daniel previously conducted international senior executive search assignments across wealth management, private equity and corporate & investment banking in the MENA region.

Mr Knought said: "Having been based full-time in the United Arab Emirates, I am now delighted to be joining Allemby Hunt, to further develop their existing client base in the GCC.

He added: "Allemby Hunt has a strong international client base across financial services, and now is the right time to invest in strengthening its Middle East business, as oil prices are set to remain strong during 2011, and the region offers exceptional prospects to financial professionals seeking a warm climate and tax-free environment. We will continue to see excellent opportunities in Abu Dhabi, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia."
