AMBITION APPOINT SIMON LYNCH TO LEAD UK BUSINESS

Hong Kong director Lynch to assume UK managing director role

Simon Lynch has been appointed managing director of Ambition UK, the London arm of the global boutique recruitment business.

Lynch has been with Ambition since November 2010 having joined as a director of its business in Hong Kong. He moves to London to assume responsibility for Ambition’s UK operations and begins his new role on Monday 28th March 2011.

Previously Lynch spent eleven years with Michael Page International where he led the national technology business in Australia. In addition to working in Hong Kong and Sydney, Lynch also has prior recruitment experience from Melbourne, Perth and London.

Guy Day, Chief Executive of Ambition, commented: “Simon’s career includes working in some of the world’s top business centres. The leadership skills he has developed and his experience of managing teams from variety of industry sectors has given him the ideal profile to take our UK business forward. Since joining Ambition Simon has proved himself to be an invaluable member of our senior team and I look forward to working with him more closely in the future.”

Simon Lynch commented: “London is a unique place in the business world and Ambition UK has a great reputation in the market so I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the company’s operations here. My time in Hong Kong, Australia and my previous experience in London has given me a rounded perspective on how best to drive business growth and I’m looking forward to getting stuck into what is a challenging but exciting time for the UK recruitment sector. ”
