Antal International opens new Nordics office

Professional and managerial recruitment company, Antal International, has further expanded its global operations with a new Nordics office.

Antal has seen rapid expansion over the last few years and the new Nordics office in Denmark brings its total office network to 103 locations in 33 countries.

The new Copenhagen-based team will cover Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland and will be headed up by Bjorn Andersen, who brings with him six years’ recruitment experience in the region.

This latest venture will initially cover roles in a range of disciplines within the energy and engineering, IT, professional and business services and financial services sectors.

Andersen says: “The Nordics region is a very exciting new market to enter. Our latest Global Snapshot survey of hiring and firing trends showed that there is currently a lot of activity in the employment markets across the region, with well over half of all employers currently hiring at professional and managerial level – an impressively high figure compared to some other western European countries.We intend to hire between eight and ten consultants into our team within the first year and we’re sure that Antal’s proven record will stand us in good stead in doing so.”
