Antal International opens new office in Poland

Global professional and managerial recruiter, Antal International has opened a new office in Wroclaw, Poland to complement its existing operation in Warsaw.

“We’ve been working with clients and candidates in Poland for more than fifteen years, but I can honestly say that we’ve never seen such a busy employment market as the current one,” says Antal Poland’s managing director, Artur Skiba. “Over the past twelve months we’ve doubled the size of our consultancy team. So opening a new office in Wroclaw, one of Poland’s largest cities and the centre of a special economic zone that’s home to many high-tech and manufacturing companies was a logical decision for us.”

As well as opening a new office and planning another in Krakow in July, the Polish operation is also moving into the contract labour market for finance and IT staff. “While professional contracting is still relatively underdeveloped here in comparison to Western Europe, the market has now reached a level of maturity where this sort of flexible working is becoming increasingly popular both for individuals and employers,” says Skiba.

The new office takes the total number of Antal International offices to 96 in 34 countries. “This is just the beginning for us,” says Antal’s Group Managing Director, Graeme Read. “Over the coming year we’re looking at new offices in the Nordic countries, Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam and Mongolia, as well as expanding our Chinese operations into other major cities to complement our existing teams in Beijing and Shanghai.”
