BARCLAY MEADE BOLSTERS SALES TEAM IN ST ALBANS

Leading professional staffing recruitment consultancy Barclay Meade has strengthened its national sales team with the appointment of Richard Mariner as senior sales consultant.

Based in the company’s office in St Albans, Richard joins Barclay Meade following a three-and-a-half year tenure as consultant at fellow recruitment company Michael Page.

Reporting in to operations director Alan Betteridge, Richard will be tasked with developing Barclay Meade’s sales permanent offering. This includes identifying, recruiting and placing high-calibre sales professionals to work across a broad range of sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), science and medicine, health and beauty and home entertainment.

Richard says: “The UK recruitment industry has had much to contend with in recent times, and the mark of a strong agency is its ability to truly understand both its clients’ needs and the sectors in which they practise.

“Barclay Meade’s reputation has grown considerably in such a short space of time, and the opportunity to be part of such a burgeoning team was one which I was not prepared to pass up.
