BARCLAY MEADE STRENGTHENS ITS ABERDEEN TEAM

Leading professional staffing recruitment consultancy Barclay Meade, part of the Matchtech Group, has bolstered its accountancy and finance team with the appointment of Gordon Macfarlane as team leader.

Gordon will be working out of the consultancy’s Aberdeen office and will be reporting to Mark McFall, Barclay Meade director of accountancy and finance. His focus will be on accounting and finance recruitment in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas.

He joins the team from AMEC-owned PI Recruitment where he spent four years as a senior consultant and business development manager. Prior to this, Gordon worked as a branch manager for CitiFinancial Europe in Aberdeen, providing financial advice on mortgages, personal loans and insurance.

As a relatively new business there is an opportunity for me to be personally involved in shaping the company, particularly in establishing the accountancy and finance offering in Aberdeen at the forefront of the industry.
