Berry Wild with Excitement at Recruitment Deal

Berry Recruitment is delighted to announce the purchase of Wild Recruitment, a thriving Hampshire based recruitment business. Under the stewardship of Kim Way and her senior management team, Wild has achieved a turnover in excess of £6 million and an extremely strong reputation in the south of England and beyond. Wild specialises within the Office, Contact Centre, Industrial, Technical and Senior Selection sectors and the company will be a welcome addition to the Berry group.

Berry Recruitment is focussed on developing key, identified specialisms from its 23 locations and Chairman, Tony Berry, sees the Wild tie up as entirely complementary. Tony comments, “Wild is one of the best run firms I have come across and this deal will significantly enhance our business and the service to our clients”.

Wild’s Managing Director, Kim Way, is equally effusive and comments, “We have grown Wild’s business significantly since its inception but we felt that future development would be best achieved as part of a larger but similarly ambitious business. When we spoke to Tony and his team we knew that we could work together”.

Berry Recruitment is a national business with specialist divisions within the Office and IT, Technical, Construction, Industrial and Catering sectors. The Berry group will achieve £30 million turnover in 2011 and is now well on its way to reaching its stated goal of £50 million turnover by 2013.

Wild were advised during the deal by Andy Breeze and Carl Swansbury of RSM Tenon and Andy comments, “When we approached Berry it became immediately apparent that the cultural fit of the two businesses would be ideal”.
