Bright Purple rings in the New Year with a dozen new recruits

IT and Financial Services Recruitment specialists, Bright Purple Resourcing has announced 12 new recruits to significantly bolster its operations in its Edinburgh and London offices.

The company, which experienced a record year of financial growth in 2010 and increased turnover by more than 42%, says it is investing in extra talent to accommodate further growth in 2012 and beyond. Nine of the new posts, which are focused on sales, operations and support, are based at Bright Purple's Edinburgh headquarters while three additional roles have been created at its Tower 42 premises in London.

Bright Purple's Managing Director, Nick Price said: "If you listen to the general vibe and most people's thinking right now, you could be forgiven for thinking we are still in recession and needing to cut costs. While there is some pain on the way in areas like the public sector, the performance of Bright Purple shows there is definitely a light at the end of the UK's economic tunnel.

"Being able to grow depends on the availability of good people in the marketplace and there's no doubt that it's been a real challenge to find so much great talent that fits into the dynamic environment we have within the business. However I'm confident that we've brought in some real stars for the future."

"This latest round of recruitment underlines Bright Purple's continued success in the marketplace within the UK and, increasingly, in global markets. Last year we experienced more than 42% growth in revenues and we are confident that we can further grow the business as we go forward."
