Candidate Manager, a leading global provider of e-recruitment software solutions, has signed a deal with UK bicycle retailer Evans Cycles to streamline its recruitment process.

Candidate Manager, a leading global provider of e-recruitment software solutions, has signed a deal with UK bicycle retailer Evans Cycles to streamline its recruitment process.

Evans Cycles enlisted the services of Candidate Manager after seeing an increase in the number of overall applications to its growing business. With 43 stores and 860 staff Evans Cycles typically posts up to 250 job advertisements per year. By employing the services of Candidate Manager Evans Cycles can now expect to see a significant improvement in the efficiency of its hiring process.



Evans Cycles will further benefit from the implementation of Candidate Manager Software solutions with a visible reduction in their agency fees. It will also allow the company to easily identify the most suitable applicants and store their information in a database which can also be referred to for future roles that arise within the company, thereby eliminating the additional advertising spend traditionally incurred.



George Lee, Head of Training and Recruitment, Evans Cycles commented: “Candidate Manager has provided us with the perfect solution to meet our short and long term goals. Our initial objective was to streamline our administrative procedures in order to select the most appropriate candidate from the large volume of applications we receive. This has enabled us to identify the highest calibre of applicants and thereby eliminate the need to re-advertise positions time and time again. In the long term, we can look forward to seeing a significant increase in staff productivity, a higher retention of staff, and a considerable reduction in the length of the recruitment process in order to focus on our core business objectives.”



Existing clients of Candidate Manager have seen significant results in advancing to e-recruitment software. One major bookmaker saw the number of direct hires increase by as much as 60% through its website. A top retailer saw its productivity increase by 27% after engaging the services of Candidate Manager. With nearly one third of resource time being taken up with reviewing CV’s, Candidates Manager’s automated systems allow streamlining of processes as well as higher staff retention levels while agency fees are reduced by as much as 40%. Clients will typically achieve a full return on their investment within a 6 month period.
