CAPITA ACHIEVES CERTIFICATION FOR PARTNERING EXCELLENCE

Capita Resourcing achieves BS 11000 certification

The specialist managed services division of Capita Resourcing has achieved BS 11000 certification, a British standard for collaborative business relationships. Capita Resourcing is the first recruitment business in the UK to be awarded the standard.

The standard, which was launched by BSi Group last year, benchmarks the collaborative capability of organisations and exemplifies best practice. Capita was found to meet the requirements of the standard after a six-week audit period where BSi reviewed Capita's processes, systems and client accounts.

Dawn Marriott-Sims, executive director of Capita Workforce Services, commented:  "Partnering and collaboration is at the heart of what we do, it is in our DNA. Achieving the standard as a formal recognition of that is a welcomed outcome and something that the whole team is enormously proud of."

BSi will regularly visit Capita to ensure compliance to the standard and support it in the continual improvement of its systems. Capita's BS 11000 certification is valid for three years.
