Career Blazers Announces Name Change to Global Employment Solutions

Career Blazers, a professional staffing services firm founded in New York, NY in 1949, announced that it is changing its name to "Global Employment Solutions" effective May 16, 2011.

Global Employment Solutions acquired the Career Blazers business four years ago, but continued to operate under the Career Blazers name in order to fully leverage its brand and 62-year reputation for delivering exemplary service and reliable placements. Howard Brill, President and CEO of Global, stated, "As we have expanded the business beyond the markets that Career Blazers has historically operated in and Global itself has expanded its markets both organically and by way of recent acquisitions, we feel the timing is now right to operate our business under one brand."

Caress Kennedy, Executive Vice President, commented further, "The name is changing now to reflect the expansion of the business. Four years after the merger, we have expanded our business lines and geographic reach, helping our clients beyond just their administrative staffing needs. The Global portfolio also includes Accounting & Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, Legal, Life Sciences and Logistics."

The Career Blazers offices, which continue to operate with its original leadership and support team four years after the acquisition, are expected to be fully operational under the Global name by May 16, 2011.
