CDI Corp. Names Robert M. Larney Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

CDI Corp. has announced that Robert M. Larney has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer effective August 30, 2011.

Larney, a certified public accountant, replaces Mark Kerschner who is leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities. Kerschner joined CDI in 2005 as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

"Bob has significant experience managing global financial operations, as well as helping lead companies through strategic change," CDI President and Chief Executive Officer Paulett Eberhart said. "His technical expertise in all areas of public company financial management is deep and his focus on optimizing resources to produce growth is well-aligned with CDI's direction."

Larney was most recently senior vice president and chief financial officer for Tekni-Plex Inc. — a private equity owned global packaging manufacturer based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He has served as chief financial officer for public companies including Rieter Automotive Systems and Foamex International Inc. and for privately-held Lutron Electronics, Inc. During his 35-year career he has held a variety of roles in accounting, commercial finance and treasury for RCA Corporation, FMC Corporation and the Ingersoll-Rand Company.

Larney has a bachelor of business administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a master of business administration degree from LaSalle University.
