Comensura launches programme of regional forums encouraging Local Authorities to ‘make the most of what you’ve got’

Events will showcase how to maximise internal recruitment resource

Comensura, the specialists in organisational efficiency through the managed supply of people, today announced regional forums in Taunton and Nuneaton aimed at advising Local Authorities and other public sector bodies on how to maximise internal resources to cut costs and grow talent within the organisation.

Jamie Horton, Managing Director of Comensura said: “Local Authorities and public service bodies are increasingly being asked to do more with less money. Our work with clients across the UK has shown that by developing the internal recruitment supply chain, organisations can foster talent, while increasing economic efficiencies. We’ve helped clients develop apprenticeships, internal supply agencies and redeployment pools that have delivered real value in a difficult economic environment.”

Comensura’s regional forums will also include workshops on other new areas of recruitment services particularly relevant to large public sector organisations including:

An update on the Agency Worker Regulations

How combining neutral and master vend recruitment models can deliver greater cost effectiveness without affecting the quality of hire

How Comensura is working with recruitment suppliers to manage their costs and ultimately deliver a better price to local authorities

Attendees will also learn how employing Comensura’s new Workforce Planning and Demand Management products can have a dramatic and immediate impact on total agency worker spend.

The forums are free to attend for public sector organisations. The forums will take place on the following dates:

Midlands Regional Forum, Nuneaton, Thursday 10th November 2011

South West Regional Forum, Taunton, Friday 11th November 2011

For further information on attendance at Comensura’s regional forums, contact Carly Sinclair on 01582 542700.
