Command Center, Inc. Announces Results

Command Center, Inc. the on-demand and temporary staffing solutions, has announced revenue of $7.65 million for the four-week reporting period of August 2011, a 30% increase on revenue of $5.90 million recorded in August 2010. There were 54 company-owned stores in August, as compared with 51 stores one year ago.

“Revenue numbers have stepped up nicely this summer and are approaching or exceeding $2 million per week,” said Command’s Chairman and CEO, Glenn Welstad. “I am pleased with how well our employees and field team members have established Command’s presence in areas where there is a great need for the kind of skilled and unskilled workers that we provide. Currently, our branch offices are aggressively recruiting workers to service customers in the Bakken shale region, and for the massive recovery and restoration projects in areas like Joplin, Missouri and Minot, South Dakota. We are also prepared to assist with post-Hurricane Irene clean-up activities, as needed. Responding to these types of situations in different parts of the country is what we are qualified to do best.”

Mr. Welstad noted that activity with existing and new national accounts has also been rising steadily. “Command is now able to take advantage of more and more opportunities that require the deployment of larger numbers of workers for longer periods of time. As a result, we are positioned for accelerated growth beyond current levels.”
