Connex Education Managing Director to run the Connex Education managing director Mark Beedles is looking to raise £5000 to the charity Whizz Kidz, who give disabled children the chance to lead a more independent life. Connex Educations Managing Director Mark Beedles is currently in training to run the New York Marathon on behalf of the charity Whizz Kidz, who work to give disabled children the chance to lead a more independent life. There are currently 70,000 disabled children in the Mark Beedles has set it as his ambition to raise in excess of £5000 for the charity which will buy a powered wheel chair. Connex Education have specialised Special needs Consultants across its branch network and this was seen as the perfect charity to work with. Speaking on the charity Mark Beedles MD said “With Connex’s commitment to the SEN sector, it made perfect sense to run the marathon for Whizz Kidz” he went on to say “this is just my way of supporting a charity that does a great amount of work for disabled children” Although he has never run a marathon before Mark Beedles commented “The training is proving tough, but the goal of being able to provide a powered wheelchair for a child, helps with all the early mornings and blisters” You can follow his regular updates via twitter @markbeedles |
