Contractors are core to 29% of businesses

The CIPD and Hays have published the results of their “Resourcing and Talent Planning Annual Survey” which identifies that 29% of businesses said that contractors were an integral part of their business and 62% think demand for contractors will increase.

It appears that companies are still tentative to take on permanent staff due economic uncertainty still looming, which will come as good news to contract and temporary workers.
