CrossKnowledge, European leader in distance learning gains ground in the UK market

CrossKnowledge, European leader in distance learning solutions, has held its first ever Customer Day for British clients.  Following the group’s acquisition of Mohive in 2010, CrossKnowledge has gone from strength to strength in the UK, growing by 25 % in the last year.

A European success story, with ambitions for the UK

Keith Smith, UK Director of CrossKnowledge, is delighted with the advances that the company has made: “Over the past year we have seen fantastic growth and significantly expanded our client base in the UK. We are positive that CrossKnowledge will continue to grow in this market, providing large and small organisations with adapted distance learning solutions, enabling them to maximise their budgets and train their staff to excel in a difficult economic climate.”

A thought leader in distance learning

More than 40 companies, including some of the largest organisations in the UK (Jaguar Land Rover, Aviva, NHS, Rexam), attended CrossKnowledge’s recent Customer Day to listen to keynote speaker Charles Handy who presented on the topic of Designing the Learning Organisation for the Digital Age. CrossKnowledge strives to be a global thought leader for distance learning, always collaborating with key figures in the learning and development world. Its solutions are developed hand in hand with a ‘Faculty’ of leading thinkers from top business schools and specialist consultancies the world over, ensuring that the content of the solutions provided is always at the cutting edge and of the highest quality.

Innovating to meet market needs, successful against the odds

Building on its success over the last year, CrossKnowledge will continue to increase the breadth and depth of its product portfolio, bringing modern solutions which use new innovative technologies to the UK market. “New learning formats are essential to address current learning trends,” says Keith Smith. “With state of the art offerings such as Serious Games and My Management TV, CrossKnowledge makes learning exciting, accessible and perfectly adapted to today’s 2.0 workforce.”

Mickael Ohana, CEO and founder of CrossKnowledge believes that: “The success we are currently seeing in the UK is a reflection both of the quality of CrossKnowledge’s solutions, and the company’s investment in this critical market. At a difficult time in the economy, CrossKnowledge makes it possible for companies to design and deliver quality training at a reasonable cost via up-to-date technology.”

The Customer Day also saw the formal launch of the CrossKnowledge Academy in the UK, an online community of clients and partners designed to promote discussion and exchange in a virtual environment. CrossKnowledge hopes that this space will encourage knowledge-sharing and increased engagement with the issues surrounding distance learning.
