Danbro, the award-winning specialist accountancy firm for contract and freelance workers, has supported another prestigious recruitment industry event by sponsoring a drinks reception hosted by the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) at the House of Commons.

The event took place on Tuesday, 13th September, and was hosted by MP Jim Dowd. The event gave delegates the opportunity to share their views on the controversial Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) and also partake in a Q & A session guided by Deputy Director of Employment relations at BIS, Peter Stephens.

With the regulations set to be implemented on 1^st October 2011, staffing firms, hirers and service providers are working hard to ensure their organisations comply with the new regulations before they come into force.
