DANBRO CELEBRATES TEN YEARS OF SUCCESS

Danbro, the specialist accountancy firm for contract and freelance workers, is celebrating ten years of success, having developed into one of the fastest-growing businesses in the country and helped over 15,000 contractors with their financial affairs in its first decade of operation.

Since being founded in 2001, the company has expanded rapidly to become one of the UK’s leading specialist accountancy firms, catering for the UK’s rapidly-growing army of contract and freelance workers.

It has featured in the Sunday Times FastTrack 100 list of the UK’s fastest-growing companies for the past four years – one of only two firms to achieve this – and has been a finalist in the industry’s prestigious Accountancy Age Awards four times.

Danbro has also enjoyed official recognition for the quality of its service, with accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Association of Accounting Technicians for its training standards, as well as holding Investor in People status and the internationally-recognised ISO:9001 standard for its management systems.

To help celebrate the milestone, and to thank clients for their support over the years, Danbro will be holding a special prize draw over the coming weeks. Each year the firm surveys its clients to ensure they are happy with the service provided, and respondents to this year’s survey will be entered into a draw to win one of an iPad, two iPod touches and 22 iPod shuffles.

Danbro partner Damian Broughton said: “Starting up Danbro was a big step for me, but I was confident there was a gap in the market for a specialist accounting service that always looked for new ways to help contractors and offered a dedicated client manager who was a single point of contact for all of their queries.

“The business has continued to grow and expand as working on a contract or freelance basis has become more popular. Even during the recession, many firms found they could save money by outsourcing work and as the economy has started to recover, using contract and freelance staff offers a more flexible way to bring in the manpower they need. The result is that we have never been busier, with record new client registrations during 2010.

“We couldn’t have done all this without the support of our clients or the dedication of our staff and I would like to thank all of them for helping Danbro to become the success it is today.”
