Digby Morgan Expands its Permanent Recruitment Teams in London and Dubai

Despite the ongoing uncertainties in the global economy, the demand for talented HR professionals continues to grow across all sectors in the UK and beyond. To help meet this demand, Digby Morgan, the leading specialist HR search and selection consultancy, has made several additions to its teams in London and Dubai.

Having spent a highly successful three years in the company’s London head office, Julie Nicol has recently relocated to Digby Morgan’s Dubai office where she will be a managing consultant responsible for developing the business and the expanding team in the region.

The Dubai office has also been further strengthened with the recruitment of Brian Rushe who has joined the company as an associate consultant. Prior to joining Digby Morgan, Brian has spent several years in the Gulf region working in the conference and events industry.

In London, Digby Morgan’s specialist division focused on recruiting entry to mid level HR professionals has made four new appointments:

Lauren McDougall is a law graduate from The University of Edinburgh and has joined Digby Morgan following four years with Hays. Initially based in Scotland where she specialised in the business and corporate banking market, Lauren then moved to the Hays Banking division in London where, before leaving to join Digby Morgan, she managed the Retail Banking team.

Madeline Dryden has joined Digby Morgan from ‘recruitment to recruitment’ specialist Lothbury Recruitment where her clients were senior recruitment professionals in both consultancy and corporate recruitment roles in the financial and professional services sector.  A graduate from the University of Surrey who then completed an MA in psychology at University College London, Madeline initially started her recruitment career in the legal sector where she was focused on the recruitment of solicitors for leading law firms and financial services institutions.

The same team in London has also been boosted by the arrival of Catherine Yapp and Jessica Shannon who are the latest new recruits to have joined Digby Morgan’s graduate recruitment and development programme.

Digby Morgan’s CEO, Alistair Cook, is delighted with these new hires. “Without a doubt, 2011 has been a challenging year but we’re continuing to make great strides to develop and grow our teams in offices across the world. We remain cautiously optimistic that this growth will continue throughout the rest of 2011 and into 2012 as we see a continuing, albeit gradual, return of confidence in the HR recruitment sector.
