Digby Morgan Founder and CEO Stands Down

23 years after he founded what is now one of the world’s leading specialist HR search and selection consultancies, Digby Morgan CEO, John Maxted, has announced his resignation.

Alistair Cook, the company’s Chief Operating Officer and long standing Digby Morgan executive director, has

been appointed as the company’s new CEO.

“I’m fantastically proud of what we have achieved at Digby Morgan over the last 23 years,” said John Maxted, “and will, of course, miss everything about the company. However, the time has come for me personally to look for new challenges. I’m looking forward to becoming more involved in public life and also in exploring some different business opportunities.”

Commenting on Alistair Cook’s appointment, John Maxted added that: “I have worked closely with Alistair for almost 14 years and he has played a key role in helping me to build a brand leading international recruitment business.  I’m delighted that Alistair has agreed to take on this new challenge and wish him all the best for the future.”
