elemense provides recruitment solution for global technical consultancy WYG

Leading recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) provider, elemense has been appointed by the AIM listed, global project management and technical consultancy, WYG plc to manage its contract and temporary recruitment.

Commencing in December, the two-year contract will see elemense provide a dedicated client services team that will act as an interface between WYG’s hiring community and multiple sources of candidates.

With over 1,400 employees operating across 40 countries and a diverse range of clients from blue chip private clients to government and development agencies, the technical skill sets of WYG’s staff is key to its success.

The services provided by elemense will allow WYG to outsource the recruitment function to professionals who have experience in sourcing the right talent; identifying candidates with the relevant qualifications, training and skills.

Peter Collis, managing director of elemense, said: “WYG had previously used multiple recruitment agencies on a preferred supplier basis. At elemense, our aim was to create an arrangement that would enable WYG to not only substantially reduce costs associated with recruitment, but also meet its objective of a more flexible workforce and an optimised permanent to contract staff ratio.”
