FDM Group appoints new US Vice President Brandt Rousseaux

The UK’s largest IT graduate employer and international IT services provider, FDM Group, has appointed Brandt Rousseaux to the role of Vice President within the company’s US branch.

Rousseaux will be charged with leading the US expansion of the firm from its Wall Street office and has a wealth of experience in tactical and strategic planning, as well as operational and business intelligence.

Speaking of his appointment at FDM Rousseaux said, “I see this role as the ultimate leadership challenge. It provides me with an exceptional opportunity to combine my experience in generating entrepreneurial tactics to support strategic direction, with my background in IT. I look forward to contributing to the phenomenal expansion that FDM is currently experiencing.”

Rousseaux began his career as an officer in the US Coast Guard. He commanded three US Coast Guard Cutters and led many national-level efforts for US Intelligence Community members such as the Defense Intelligence Agency and the US Navy.

Rousseaux holds a Masters in Public Policy from Princeton University, as well as a Masters of Arts in Military Studies from the American Military University.

Key to his role within one of the UK’s leading IT services providers, Rousseaux also holds the Chief Information Officer Certificate from the Information Resource Management College at the US National Defense University.

Prior to his appointment at FDM, Rousseaux was responsible for developing the international presence and growth of leading language-learning software company Rosetta Stone.

Throughout his four year employment at the company, Rousseaux expanded international sales and marketing offices in Tokyo, London, Seoul and Munich and was instrumental in growing the company’s overseas revenue to over $40 million.

During his tenure, he was also Acting Managing Director of the Rosetta Stone UK operation in London, as well as Director of Website Strategies, contributing to the global branding of the company.

Having reached capacity within its New York Academy in the Penthouse of 14 Wall Street, with an ongoing expansion across another floor, FDM Group is delighted with this latest managerial appointment.

FDM Group CEO, Rod Flavell, said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming Brandt onboard. As someone who has ensured the successful expansion of international operations and led an incredible amount of positive change, we know that Brandt will contribute greatly to our ongoing US expansion.”
