FiveTen Hires Head of Internal Resourcing Global recruitment consultancy FiveTen has appointed Sharron Marsh to head the Group’s new internal resourcing division across Europe, the Middle East and John Rose, Group CEO of the FiveTen Group said, “In the last year and a half our EMEA Region has grown considerably faster than any of our quoted competitors. Maintaining that momentum is crucial to our strategy. Our goal is to raise our headcount to 1000 employees by 2014 [currently 620 strong]. The attraction, retention, and development of high calibre employees has always given FiveTen a competitive edge. But it is more important now than ever. Sharron is coming in to ensure we maintain that edge as we accelerate our efforts to beat our competitors to the richest talent. We know that our specialist brands have distinct and enticing differentiators and accolades such as Marks Sattin’s recent, ‘Best Large Recruitment Agency To Work For’ award, (Source: Recruiter magazine May 2011 awards), will play their part too. ” Marsh started her career in recruitment at Hays in 1996, before she moved into internal recruitment with Martin Ward Anderson in 2004. In 2010, she joined Square One where she worked as a recruitment manager. At Square One, she was responsible for the development and expansion of teams across multiple disciplines, increasing headcount by 22% year on year. Sharron Marsh, Head of Internal Resourcing said, “For any internal resourcing professional, working in the recruitment industry is the ultimate challenge. It’s the epitome of a people business and that’s what drives most of us to get into the industry in the first place. The scale of the FiveTen Group, its clear leadership and ambition made it a compelling opportunity for me. With stamps of credibility such as a host of awards to point to and our Investors in People accreditations, the Group is clearly in a strong position to maximise on its current talent pool. I can’t wait to make a difference here.” |
