Harvey Nash announces strategic partnership with Alcatel-Lucent, concludes initial €54m fixed term outsourcing contract.




The Harvey Nash Group Plc has been selected as a key strategic partner by Alcatel-Lucent. A new subsidiary company, Nash Technologies GmbH, has been incorporated for this purpose and will be a centre of excellence providing wireless technology maintenance, research and development services.





Revenue generated under the contract is expected to be approximately €54 million over an initial fixed term beginning 1st October 2008 to 31 December 2010. Under the contract, Nash Technologies will endeavour to deliver;-





* a risk-focused, effective and efficient research and development team



* a commitment to focusing on high levels of service to Alcatel-Lucent and new clients



* increased utilisation of the global skills base, particularly in Harvey Nash Vietnam



* a strategy for growing the business and achieving further economies of scale
