Healthcare Locums plc Directorate Change Appointment of Chief Finance Officer (Designate) The Board of Healthcare Locums plc, a leading provider of staffing solutions in the health and social care sectors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sue Bygrave, 46, as Chief Finance Officer (Designate), succeeding Bill Jessup, Interim Chief Finance Officer who will step down on publication of the financial accounts for the year ended 31 December 2011. Sue will formally take up her role as an Executive Director on the Board of HCL on 6 February 2012 and will assume responsibility for all accounting activity across the Group including operations in Australia. Sue joins from Biome Technologies plc, the AIM listed bioplastics and RF (radio frequency) technology business, where she was Group Finance Director supporting an acquisition strategy whilst driving organic growth. Prior to Biome Technologies, Sue was Group Finance Director of VEGA Group plc, an organisation delivering consulting, technology and managed solutions into Aerospace, Defence and Government Markets. She was Joint Chair of the Executive Management Team that saw the repositioning of the business as an independent specialist services company prior to its acquisition by Finmeccanica in 2008. Sue is an ACA qualified accountant and began her career with KPMG in Audit. Peter Sullivan, Chairman of HCL, commented: "We are delighted that Sue is joining the company as Chief Finance Officer.
