The REC is today pleased to announce that Bryan Peña, Vice President of Staffing Industry Analysis, is the latest speaker to be confirmed CIETT’s World Employment Conference which the REC is hosting in London in May.

As a member of the Strategic Solutions Group at Staffing Industry Analysis (SIA), Bryan is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing cost-cutting research and a strategy agenda on contingent labour.

At the CIETT conference, Bryan will be speaking at the masterclasses on May 24 on the trends and opportunities in global staffing markets highlighting the findings of their annual global surveys. He joins a stellar cast of experts such as leading HR thinker,  Dr Lynda Gratton; Matthew Syed, award-winning journalist from The Times; Prof Richard Scase, Europe’s leading thinker on innovation and corporate change and Mary B Lucas, Chief Resource Officer for Staffmark, one of the USA’s largest and most successful staffing companies.

The REC’s World Employment Conference 2012 is designed to provide insight, learning and practical solutions for recruitment and staffing businesses who want to grow and develop.  Some of the practical topics being covered include how to use social media to grow sales, developing your people into world class billers and how to add value to your client offering.

The conference will be held at the Landmark Hotel London from May 23-25 and will include a black tie dinner with high profile speakers from Government and business, hosted by Gyles Brandreth from the BBC’s “The One Show” who is also a former Conservative MP.

Commenting on the addition of Bryan Peña to the event, Kevin Green, the REC’s Chief Executive, said: “Recruitment is a global business so having one of the world’s leading researchers explaining trends and their data and highlighting current trends is an important addition to the programme.”

“Having worked for more than a decade in a number of strategic sourcing roles for Fortune 500 companies, Bryan brings a depth and breadth of knowledge of the recruitment and staffing industry. I am looking forward to our audience picking up valuable insights and practical advice from Bryan.”
