Licensing in Recruitment Debate announces sponsor

Financial management group 1st Option is delighted to have been named as one of the main sponsors of a groundbreaking recruitment industry event to take place on 24th June 2010.

The event, organised by the Association of Professional Staffing Companies and also supported by Royal Bank of Scotland, will focus on the question of whether professional recruiters should have to be licensed and/or qualified in order to undertake their day to day roles, and whether it would add value to clients. The event will centre on a panel debate featuring politicians from the main parties, business leaders and other recruitment industry figures.

Significantly, the event will link recruitment professionals in 4 UK cities, London, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, for a live debate focusing on this important topic, to ensure that the issue can be discussed nationwide.

Commenting on the event, 1st Option Managing Director, David Mount said: “I am really pleased that 1st Option is an integral part of this exciting event and that we are able to further our commitment to supporting the industry in its efforts to raise standards and professionalism.”
