Latest News - Pertemps Retain Their Place In The Sunday Times Top 100

Jul 30, 2010

Pertemps is listed in the prestigious Sunday Times Top 100 companies to work for in the UK for the third year running.

Kent Thompson, Pertemps joint Managing Director, said: “We are thrilled to have been listed for the fourth year running in this highly esteemed Sunday Times Top 100 listing.  The fact we have retained our position, especially taking into consideration the difficult economic climate is also testimony to all the hard work, effort and complete dedication shown by our employees from across the UK over the past 12 months.

“Pertemps, who will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year, is a longstanding family based company with people focussed culture and values.

To see this recognised is wonderful and is very much a reason why Pertemps have continued to grow and develop over the years’ when other companies have been troubled by economic pressures and an increasingly competitive market.”

“Looking after your employees should be the primary objective of any business, only when your staff are content can the businesses itself begin to flourish”, continued Kent Thompson, Pertemps joint Managing Director.

The 100 Best Companies to work for survey sets the benchmark for research into employee satisfaction in the British workplace and draws on the responses of over 230,000 employees from 964 companies from across the UK.

The Sunday Times used a proven research process specifically designed to capture data from the British workforce.  The poll consisted of seventy rigorously tested questions relating to several aspects of the workplace, including overall staff wellbeing, leadership, personal development, teamwork and charitable activities.

This survey is the second triumph for Pertemps this year after they were recently awarded a Star Status Accreditation by the Best Companies organisation. The Star Status is awarded in recognition of their outstanding performance to employee engagement throughout the whole of Pertemps.
