reed.co.uk tops 3 million unique visitors in January
Leading job board, reed.co.uk, welcomed more than 3 million unique visitors in January.
The record figure represents a massive 28% rise from the previous year and continues the dramatic growth in activity experienced on reed.co.uk over the past two years.
reed.co.uk was also the UK's most visited commercial job site during January.
Figures released by Hitwise show that reed.co.uk received a greater market share of visits than Monster, Jobsite or Totaljobs for the first month of the New Year.
Martin Warnes, Managing Director at reed.co.uk, explains:
"Reaching 3 million unique users in January is a significant milestone for reed.co.uk and one that we've worked hard to achieve through both our marketing effort and website development.
“Over a million jobs have been posted on reed.co.uk in the last 12 months, with over 91% of our clients telling us they'll continue using reed.co.uk to recruit in the future."
reed.co.uk continues to run heavyweight brand advertising in key areas of the UK, currently running radio commercials in the North West, West Midlands, South West and South East.
Warnes also comments on a new recruitment drive at reed.co.uk:
"During 2009, the reed.co.uk sales team doubled in size and we’re looking to double again in 2010. In particular, we’re interested in speaking with talented individuals with knowledge of recruitment, digital or print media."
