KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS: WORLD LEADERS Prior to joining ANCOR Alexey spent 5 years with Coleman Services, a major HR advisory where he started with a recruitment consultant role and gradually moved to marketing and business development, eventually managing the respective department. Alexey is also a member of Association of Private Employment Agencies in Russia. He earned a degree in national economics and holds an MBA in strategic marketing.
In his time at Baird Chris has been involved in a large range of transactions with a significant number in the business services sector and particularly in human capital services. Transactions have included Elan Computing, Capital Consulting and Aston Carter. Chris currently sits on the board of Nigel Wright, a recruitment business which we are helping to grow across Europe, Asia and S. America. Neil Parker, Market Strategist, RBS
Before starting at the REC, Kevin worked for the Royal Mail from 2003 to 2008. His last role was HR Director for Royal Mail Letters; where he was responsible for all people-related issues for a business with 165,000 employees. He was part of the leadership team which transformed the business from losing £1 million a day in 2003 to making over £600 million profit in 2007. Prior to this, Kevin was Managing Director of Qtab, a successful strategic HR consultancy that specialised in assisting businesses to develop and implement their people strategies. His clients included Lloyds TSB, First Choice, Fuji, Orange and Unilever. Since arriving at the REC, Kevin has improved its offering to members; this has included the introduction of account management, launched the Institute of Recruitment Professionals and developed a business support unit under the Academy for Business brand. During Kevin’s tenure at the REC it’s been recognised for its excellence in service provision and campaigns, winning over nine trade association and member awards. Kevin has a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel and is a Fellow of the CIPD and IRP and has written many articles on HR Strategy and Organisational Change. He is a much sought-after speaker on subjects such as the future of resourcing; using people strategies to improve competitiveness and how to undertake people-centric organisational transformation. He is also a regular contributor to BBC radios 5’s Wakeup to Money and the Today programme. Kevin has also made many TV appearances on ITV, Channel 4, Sky and BBC news where he is commentating on the UK labour market.
INTERNATIONAL PANEL: Nick Stephens - RSA Global - CEO
Nick has been a Director of RSA since 1986 and joined the business full-time in 1995. In 2000 he became Managing Director of RSA Consulting Ltd - the RSA "group" company. Following a major re-structure in September 2005 Nick took up a new position as CEO. In this role he has led the transformation of RSA into a truly global company launching new wholly-owned businesses in London, USA, Germany, Singapore, and Switzerland, a joint venture in China and a partnership in Turkey. Nick studied Law at the University of East Anglia and Business at Cranfield and has broad commercial experience gained through various roles in metals trading, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and the British National Health Service as well as from his time at RSA.
John Rose - CEO - FiveTen Group - General
He was a Divisional Managing Director of HW Group Plc when it was acquired by TMP (now Monster Worldwide; Nasdaq: MNST) in 2000 and became Chief Operating Officer of TMP’s UK recruitment business in 2002. When that business was de-merged in 2003, John was appointed CEO of Hudson’s (Nasdaq: HHGP) UK/Ireland operation, an 800 person, £200m turnover business operating in Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Sales & Marketing, and Supply Chain & Procurement recruitment, Recruitment Outsourcing, and Assessment & Development. During his 4 years in this role, John integrated 12 acquisitions, re-shaped the business, made 3 divestments and grew profitability (EBITDA) from (£100k) to £11.3m.
