54 Million Win For Harvey Nash
Harvey Nash announces strategic partnership with Alcatel-Lucent, concludes initial 54m fixed term outsourcing contract.
The Harvey Nash Group Plc has been selected as a key strategic partner by Alcatel-Lucent. A new subsidiary company, Nash Technologies GmbH, has been incorporated for this purpose and will be a centre of excellence providing wireless technology maintenance, research and development services.
Revenue generated under the contract is expected to be approximately 54 million over an initial fixed term beginning 1st October 2008 to 31 December 2010. Under the contract, Nash Technologies will endeavour to deliver-
* a risk-focused, effective and efficient research and development team
* a commitment to focusing on high levels of service to Alcatel-Lucent and new clients
* increased utilisation of the global skills base, particularly in Harvey Nash Vietnam
* a strategy for growing the business and achieving further economies of scale
