Cast Appoints Ahead of Expansion
CAST UK, the Manchester-based recruitment consultancy, has appointed Jeff Roberts as its new managing consultant as it looks to double staff numbers over the next 12-months.
The company, which specialises in finding job candidates for procurement and logistics roles with some of the UKs biggest companies, was set up three years ago and has already broken the 1million turnover mark.
The consultancy aims to double its current staff numbers to around 24 by the end of 2009 and is on course to achieve a significant increase in turnover.
As part of his new role, Jeff, 27, will manage Cast UKs entire team of recruitment consultants, as well as leading the firms own recruitment ambitions.

Jeff, who holds a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from University of Northumbria, was previously employed by DHL-Exel, one of the worlds biggest logistics companies, where he managed projects for O2, Debenhams, Selfridges, House of Fraser and Reebok. He has also worked in a national logistics roles for Cosalt, an international supplier of marine safety equipment.
