FILLING THE GAP WITH THE PERSONNEL TOUCH

FILLING THE GAP WITH THE PERSONNEL TOUCH

Following a recent study, gap personnel, the nationwide recruitment specialist, is looking to develop a front of house approach in all 40 UK branches similar to a maitre de in top class restaurants, to help make people feel at ease before interviews and appointments.

This advanced style follows extensive customer-focused research commissioned by the leading independent recruiter, which highlighted that nearly two thirds of all candidates applying for jobs have found recruitment agencies intimidating.

Gary Dewhurst, gap personnels MD, explains: We are dedicated to offering the very best commercial and industrial recruitment service. To do this we regularly listen to our clients and candidates to understand every intrinsic detail in the job-seeking process, which ensures their experience with gap personnel is unparalleled.
He adds: All staff training throughout our network will be tailored to respond to our research findings and heavily biased to the initial customer experience whether its online or a visit to a branch.
The recent research also revealed that despite half of all job seekers using the internet to initially find a recruitment agency, 60% then prefer to deal with the agency face-to-face.
Dewhurst concludes: These findings are refreshing. Its great to know that the internet is being used as a reference tool, but then candidates prefer to deal with a real person at the agency. We have just relaunched our website to reflect our customers needs, but also invest heavily in staff retention and recruitment to ensure we work with the very best.
