Harvey Nash Pays Out

Professional recruitment and outsourcing consultancy, Harvey Nash, has announced that it will be paying its SME suppliers and small businesses early this Christmas to ease the financial burden that comes at this time of year.
What a great idea if you owe RI money why not send it in today!!!!

Harvey Nash is concerned by reports that large companies are delaying payments to suppliers as they hoard cash as a result of the credit crunch. Following the Governments promised windfall for small companies in last weeks Pre-Budget Report, including a range of measures totalling 7bn to help them survive as the credit crunch bites, Harvey Nash is taking advantage of its own strong financial situation to help aid its smaller suppliers.

Small business suppliers can be assured that all valid invoices submitted promptly and normally settled in the first week of January will be paid before 25 December and Harvey Nash is urging other large companies to follow suit.

The credit crunch is putting even greater strain on small businesses at what is already a tough time of year financially, said Albert Ellis, CEO of Harvey Nash. Paying invoices ahead of time and ahead of Christmas may seem insignificant, but it is actions like these that will make a huge difference for many of our smaller suppliers. To get through this economic downturn, we must support UK business, and in particular the smaller owner managed companies which make up the backbone of the UK economy.
