Good candidates are hard to find, especially in a market where the number of job seekers is increasing, explains David Colgrave, CEO, Ardent Search and Selection. Having worked to source high calibre candidates we wanted and an effective method of presenting the best candidates in the most time efficient way. This application helps employers select the most suitable people for their organisation and gives candidates the reassurance that Ardent is using the latest technology to ensure they stand out from the crowd. It adds a personal touch to the whole process we are in the people business after all!
Talent on View offers a total video solution. This business tool can be used for a number of applications, such as video interviewing either face to face or remotely. Face to face involves a video clip of a candidate either answering questions or creating a personal statement. Remote interviewing enables consultants to send out a link to a potential candidate asking them to cover a number of questions pertinent to the position within their video clip this is automatically sent back to the consultant to review and then, if suitable, is sent to their clients in a secure and branded way.
Having worked closely with Ardent to understand their organisation and requirements, we have created a video package which helps them gain a competitive edge in the market place, added Alexis Twigg, co-founder of Talent on View. Even the subtle changes, such as when candidates submit their CV online, instead of receiving a standard automated email reply, they will now be greeted by a personalised response from their assigned consultant, all help to engage with the candidate. Since our launch in September last year, our product has been taken on board by a number of companies in the UK, USA and Australia.
Twigg continues: The process isnt meant to take away the whole interview process but assists in speeding up the decision making. After implementing the web based software, one of our clients has reduced their recruitment process from around three months, to under four weeks a reduction which has saved time and money something which cant be ignored in the current climate.
