Euro London continues work as language ambassador

Specialist multilingual recruitment consultancy Euro London Appointments is continuing its role as an ambassador for language learning in the UK into 2009.

Following its success in the Regional Language Networks Business Language Champions scheme of 2008, Euro London is taking part in the programme for a second year and again partnering with Lambeth Academy to encourage its students to study foreign languages. The recruiter is also sponsoring the CILT European Award for Languages for the third year running.

In what is becoming an increasingly global and competitive marketplace, companies are now looking worldwide for the very best talent say David and Steve Shacklock, Managing Directors of Euro London. There is an ever growing demand for languages as employers look for candidates who have the skill and the cultural knowledge to be able to communicate on a global scale. As specialists in multilingual recruitment we know how important language skills are and were happy that were able to engage in projects like this which will hopefully highlight the many benefits of learning a language and encourage more young people to do so.
Students from Lambeth Academy will visit Euro Londons West End office to learn about the wide variety of jobs available to those who speak another language. They will also have the opportunity to sit in on real candidate interviews to experience how they are conducted and learn how to write a good CV. As well as the work with Lambeth, Euro London will continue to work with other schools across London, delivering presentations and discussing the benefits of language learning
