Kinetic to boost the appeal of manufacturing jobs with North West teenagers
In accordance with their commitment to improving the skills shortage within the manufacturing sector, Manchester based recruiters, Kinetic plc are partnering The Manufacturing Institute to deliver a Make it in manufacturing workshop at Skills North West (3rd - 5th February at Bolton Arena) the Regions largest careers event for 14 - 19 year-olds. Incorporating this workshop at the event follows the Governments recent Skills Summit, where it stated that in the new world economy, quality jobs will come from a renaissance in manufacturing.
With the sector continuously struggling to attract new entrants, the manufacturing recruitment specialists are participating at the event to provide the regions youngsters with an insight into what manufacturing is really about. Through running an interactive manufacturing style Who wants to be a millionaire game show, the company will enlighten the expected 20,000 teenagers on just how interesting, varied and rewarding a career in the sector can be.
