ODGERS APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF BIRMINGHAM PRACTICE

Recruitment specialist demonstrates commitment to regional markets
Odgers, Ray & Berndtson, the UKs leading headhunting firm, has announced the promotion of Richard Love to managing partner of the Midlands practice.

Richard will now head up the team of over 30 professionals in the Birmingham office based in 9 Brindley Place. His pan-divisional responsibilities, covering Odgers Select, Interim and Executive Search, support the groups continued investment in its regional network. As the UKs leading executive search and selection firm, unlike many of its competitors Odgers has remained committed to its regional routes. It is one of the few major search firms that still have dedicated offices outside of London. In addition to Birmingham, Odgers also has offices in Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Richard has been with Odgers, Ray & Berndtson for over four years and has primarily been based in Birmingham during this time. As well as his new responsibilities, he remains Partner of Odgers Energy, Manufacturing and Infrastructure specialist team.

Richard Love explained: The Birmingham team was established eight years ago and in that time has grown to become the largest office in the regions of any of the headhunting firms. Odgers has developed an enviable reputation across the UK and the Midlands in particular, and were now focussed upon being recognised as the primary headhunters in Birmingham.
Richard Boggis-Rolfe, Chairman and Chief Executive of Odgers added: Richards appointment is testament to Odgers continued investment in the regions as well as a clear sign of how well the company is performing as a whole. Our business is built upon the trust invested in us by clients and candidates and upon the expertise of our regional and practice heads, and with that in mind I have no doubt that Richard will continue to grow our business across the Midlands.
