Busy Bank Holiday

Busy Bank Holiday

Catch 22 the recruitment and employment specialist, looks forward to another successful Charity Challenge (this is its 7th). The walk, over May Bank Holiday, from 2nd to 4th May, is expected to be tackled by 40 colleagues, friends and clients of Catch 22, and will cover 45 miles of the Cornish coastal path. And leading the way will be Catch 22s director Simon Aspinall and walking companion Kevin Wideman of GVA Grimley. Simon and Kevin will be setting off on April 20th to walk the full route, comprising almost 300 miles and 58,000ft of climb almost twice the height of Everest! They will be joined by the main party for the final two days of their marathon effort. Proceeds from the Challenge will be distributed between Scope, for people with cerebral palsy, Breast Cancer Campaign and The Lords Taverners, giving young people a sporting chance.

Vince Parker, Managing Director of Catch 22, commented:
We look for a major challenge every other year, such as the 3 Peaks, the Welsh 3000s and the Pembroke Coast, and have found one to match anything weve tackled in the past. Simon and Kevins keenness to accomplish the entire distance is proving an inspiration to all of those taking part and we applaud their effort to the rafters. There will be plenty of us there to carry them over the finishing line if needs be!
