"Diversification, growth and learning at Cheshire Headhunters"
Cheshire based headhunters The Recruitment Management Group (RMG) have announced several important developments.
Renowned for their experience in Healthcare and Speciality Pharmaceuticals, RMG have been awarded Tier 1 preferred supplier status for Sales and Marketing to the rapidly developing US based Dermatology and Pharmaceutical Speciality company Stiefel Laboratories. They have additionally been re-awarded preferred supplier status for all business disciplines for the UK business of Fresenius Kabi, Europe's leading clinical nutrition and fluid therapy business, with whom RMG have been associated for over 20 years. RMG has also retained its status as preferred supplier for Sales and Marketing recruitment for the UK's leading advanced woundcare business Mlnlycke Health Care. Commenting, RMG Managing Director Andrew Evans said he was "delighted with the formal awards, which recognise RMG's 'excellence in the search for outstanding talent' in a sector where skill shortages are still an issue, and where the principal values of passion, integrity and service supremacy underpin everything RMG does". RMG has further strengthened its Healthcare team through the creation of a new structure, with Sam Meakin, who has been at RMG for over 5 years, stepping up to Head of Healthcare Practice and joining the senior management team.
At a time when many recruiters are bemoaning the economy, RMG has chosen to implement a diversification strategy, appointing Mark Wilding to the senior management team as Head of Technology & Consulting Practice, Mark has already made an immediate impact to the business by growing the practice in a business development and research capacity. The practice has started building some great relationships in the market and has already gained sole supplier search status with a leading Cambridge based technology consultancy.
Further evidence of RMG's aspiration was confirmed by their inclusion in the North West Development Agency backed High Growth Programme, which, commented Evans, "ties in perfectly with my personal commitment to achieved Chartered Director status through the Institute of Directors 'Developing Board Performance' programme and through the facilitated support of an IoD coach". The ambitious programme is geared to delivering 20% year on year growth, particularly by creating new jobs.
Finally, RMG has confirmed its desire to broaden its independent search practice following the sustained success of Anita Caldwell, a specialist working with retained clients across the Chemical sector, RMG plans to appoint two further experienced Search Consultants, in addition to the planned expansion of both the Healthcare and Technology practices
