Front Runners in Recruitment turns Service Excellence into an Olympic Event
Olympian and Strictly Come Dancing star Mark Foster ensured that this years Service Excellence Awards went off swimmingly.
2007 saw the launch of this new Trowbridge and District Chamber of Commerce awards evening and the Front Runners in Recruitment - White Horse Employment, who fully endorse the concept of Service Excellence, were proud to be main sponsors for the second year running. 
Hundreds turned out to the prestigious event, filling the civic hall to capacity.  The award recognises those who have gone the extra mile for Customer Service. Over 60 companies were nominated by the public, which were whittled down to 15 finalists over several months of judging, culminating in the spectacular evening representing the very best of the best. Companys from sole traders to large corporate organisations were represented and the event was a true inspiration.
Beverley Glover, Director of White Horse Employment commented: This has been a wonderful event for not only those taking part but for the town as a whole. There has been an inordinate display of talent and commitment from local companies, well done to everyone that has attended the celebration. The White Horse Employment Team have really enjoyed being part of these awards and we hope the success and enthusiasm displayed over the last two years continues.
First Past the Post and winner of the 2008 Service Excellence Awards was Trowbridge based Indian Restaurant, Tale of Spice, selected by judges Stephanie Edwards, Managing Director of Customer 1st International, Stefan Barbaruk from the Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce and Emily Mann from the Institute of Customer Service.  Stephanie commented that the standard of applicant had been outstanding and rivalled that of National Competitions.
