EMR ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

EMR ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR, SIMON BASSETT

EMR, the specialist marketing recruiter, is pleased to appoint Simon Bassett to be its new Managing Director.

EMR is a key part of the FiveTen Group and FiveTen Chief Executive, John Rose, comments, "I am very pleased to make this internal promotion. Simon has risen through the ranks and knows the EMR business intimately. His attitude and approach have been first class and he is a strong strategic thinker. But above all, he has an outstanding track record of business growth, operational leadership and team building. He's taken EMR into profitable new markets whilst maintaining our leadership position in our core sectors of marketing recruitment. I've been really impressed and am confident he will take us from strength to strength."

Simon Bassett comments, "As well as the strategic backing of FiveTen, EMR also enjoys a high profile and a reputation for excellent standards of client and candidate care. No-one denies the difficulty of the current trading environment, but we have outstanding people, high morale within the business and continuing plans for growth. We are therefore well poised to expand and that is my task - to realise the true potential of our heritage and distinctive brand. On a personal note, having joined EMR nine years ago and worked my way up, I'm delighted and am really looking forward to the future."

Established in 2006, and backed by the private equity firm, Englefield Capital, the FiveTen Group has developed into a leading specialist recruitment business, with significant operations in the UK, Europe, USA, Russia and Asia - Pacific. It now has a powerful portfolio of recruitment brands, including WH Marks Sattin in finance and accountancy, Laurence Simons in legal, Greythorn in IT, EMR in marketing and Ortus in human resources. Its most recent acquisition was Antal, the acknowledged market leader in professional recruitment in Russia.
